A GREAT BIG THANK YOU to the special merchants of downtown Coupeville - KNEAD & FEED and GENESIS Hair Salon for the donation of the RED TICKETS!!! Although our 500 tickets weren't called, we still feel very special that we were thought of and given the chance to win something for the kids!

All members that participated in the Science Fair this year were presented with a certificate and received a sweet science project, making "Rock Candy"! You all should be proud of your hard work!!!

An article in Whidbey News Times dated Wednesday April 6, 2011, shares the information of the Coupeville Boys and Girls Club participation in joining in with other B&G Clubs, setting the goal of the most people doing jumping jacks in multiple venues for two consecutive minutes. We are awaiting official results, the previous record was 278 people, and we had approximately up to 20,000 recorded that jumped nationwide. Thank you to our participating 19 members for your assistance in making this world record and putting our names in the Guinness World Record!
